It is the Secretariat's sad duty to inform you of the passing of Sister Marjorie Ricketts this past weekend. Sister Ricketts spent more than 30 years at the University Hospital of the West Indies and had been a member of the CCS since 2004. She will be fondly remembered for her bright and positive outlook on life. She rarely missed a CCS Conference and was never without an encouraging word for the CCS Secretariat staff and indeed, everyone she met.

The funeral service for Sister Ricketts will be held next Tuesday, January 12 at 11am at the St. Margarets Church, 167 Old Hope Road, Kingston, Jamaica followed by a private interment attended by Sister Rickett's family. We know the entire CCS family joins with us in mourning the passing of someone who spent so much of her life caring for others. Our sincerest condolences go out to Sister Ricketts' loved ones and her UHWI family.
