The annual event which is hosted by the Caribbean Cardiology Society (CCS) was last held in Martinique in 1993. The   Conference will be held at the Hotel Bateliere under the theme “Managing Cardiological Emergencies in the Caribbean.”

Conference Chair, Dr. Jocelyn   Inamo in his announcement, observed that “The 22nd    conference is a clear demonstration of regional integration and the synergistic gains that can be made when the members of the Caribbean health care community share their  knowledge and experience for the improvement of standards of care within the region” Dr. Inamo also announced that for the first time in its history the CCS will host evening sessions that will provide vital updates on cardiology risk assessment and management for local physicians and interested specialists in the host country.
